My home town of Lisbon, with its charming hills and views over the river Tagus, offers a plethora of dining spots with breathtaking views that are perfect for both a memorable meal and a backdrop view. I’ve included a healthy mix of wallet-friendly but with character options, and some rather fancier spots for those wanting something extra special. Bom apetite!

1. Ponto Final
- What to expect: Heads up – it can get very busy, and you’ll compromise on service/food for the views. Book months in advance if you can as it’s been featured on a Netflix show and bringing in significantly more people than it did whan I started to go there 20 years ago! It does have the most stunning riverside views of Lisbon, with the city skyline in the background.
