5 Family Travel Bloggers you’ll want to follow in 2018

Where do you get your family travel inspiration?

For me, it is without a doubt from family travel blogs; families who are either travelling around the world, dashing on European getaways every free weekend and holiday they have, and those who stay closer to home with UK family days out.

This year I thought I’d share some of my absolute favourite family travel bloggers, all of which I’m sure will inspire you too.

Wander Mum

Wander MumNot wanting to halt her globetrotting adventures when she became a mum, Elizabeth has travelled with her two daughters (now 5 and 1) since they were just a few weeks old. As a journalist, she wanted to combine her love of writing and travel as well as inspire others and help them travel the world with kids in two. The family enjoy seeking out luxury escapes and some of their recent travels have taken them to Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and Singapore. Skiing is another passion and they love a road trip, embarking on jaunts to Sweden, France and Italy.

As a London local, expect to find inspiration for days out and tips for exploring the capital. 2018 sees them gearing up for a tour of Mexico as well as trips to Tuscany and France’s Dordogne region. Follow Wander Mum to find out more and get your family travel fix.

You can follow Wander Mum of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest.

Travel Mad Mum

When Karen, UK Travel Blogger of the Year 2017, unexpectedly found out she was pregnant, the thoughts of giving of her lifestyle and extensive travel plans was daunting. After some consideration, she felt really excited about incorporating her baby into her usual lifestyle rather than changing it. She used her maternity leave, with both children to take a gap year backpacking around the world. Daughter Esme has been to 30+ countries, whilst seven month old Quinn has been to 15+. Travel Mad Mum finds using maternity leave in this way provides an amazing time for family bonding. ‘It’s easier than being at home, managing a household, especially as both parents are around at all times”. Karen writes destination guides, product reviews and top tips to make it easy for parents who love to travel.
