I’ve hand-picked houses in my favourite places in Portugal, all full of character, but all still in spots yet to be discovered by masses of tourists. Each house has a unique décor, ranging from modern to rustic, and landscapes such as the lush Minho coast, the sunny (but quiet) Western Algarve, or historical Évora, you’re bound to fall in love with one of these places.

Sagres, Algarve
This villa in Sagres is a large and beautiful house with a big garden perfect for little ones to roam around. The house has a sea view, private tennis court and 2 private big swimming pools. The closest airport is Faro (1h20 by car), and the house is nearby one of our favourite beaches: Martinhal.

House in Penafiel, near the buzzing city of oPorto. This gorgeous country house has a prime location overlooking the Douro, with an incredible infinity pool. This country house is typically decorated, and even comes with farm animals! Perfect for exploring oPorto, or to tour the Douro, this house has it all for a relaxing family holiday. The closest airport is oPorto (40 mins by car).

The paradise that is Comporta is only an hour from the capital, Lisbon. Located in the Herdade da Comporta, within pine woodland, you’ll find these two rustic-chic cabins. The stunning beach of Comporta is within walking distance, the trail taking you through a field of rice. Daily cleaning service included. The closest airport is Lisbon (1h10 by car)

Évora

I have a thing for Minho. The beautifully un-touristic northern region of Portugal is home to the country’s most beautiful landscapes, lush green forests and mountains, and a coat steep with stunning beaches. This 4 bedroom villa with a private pool is the perfect location to explore the region or relax at the nearby Moledo beach (10 mins walk) facing the mountains. 10 min walk from Moledo beach.
