We were recently sent a Lava Bright Sounds 2 Portable Speaker to review, which was lucky considering we went on our first school camping trip a couple of weeks ago!
So what is the Lava BrightSounds? This handy speaker doesn’t just stream your music straight from your phone or tablet via Bluetooth, but is also a lamp AND has a couple of USB ports for you to charge your electronics! It was perfect for our camping trip, but we also used it (and loved it) when we went on a cottage holiday to France back in May.
Adding to its tech features is the speaker’s great design. It looks beautiful no matter where you are, campsite, kitchen, French countryside – the speaker’s leather handle and gorgeous colours (we chose the sage green) and minimal look couldn’t look better.
The only downside we could find was that sometimes the Bluetooth wasn’t all that strong, but if you’re device is close enough to the speaker the sound is loud and clear without any interference.

Sound: It has a bluetooth speaker that syncs with any smart device or connect with a 3.5m AUX cable
Charger: If you’re running low on battery, you can count on it to charge your device via USB
Light: The speaker also has a soft LED light, particularly nice when camping, or dining outdoors.
