A brand new year calls for brand new Living Arrows! My favourite photo project, Living Arrows is the one I’ve religiously kept joining ever since my first few weeks of blogging. The project used to be hosted by i heart snapping, but will as of this week be hosted on the lovely Shutterflies blog.
I am honoured to be part of the contributing team this year, and as such will share an ‘outtakes’ post every monday. It’s a little late this week as we’ve just returned from the UK and are trying to get back to normal life, and make the final plans of our upcoming RTW trip.
I took these photos on January first, after a heavy night of playing with all his little Brighton buddies and staying up past midnight! If you notice, he has dark circles under his eyes!
C isn’t the biggest fan of posed pictures, but we had a busy few days ahead and I wanted to make sure I had the right photo to start off Living Arrows with a bang. So I asked him to pretend he was a dinosaur and use his favourite dinosaur toy as a prop. It worked! Out of all of them I really loved the one with the dinosaur in front of his face – you can see the photo here on Shutterflies.
It was really fun to shoot, and even tired C was excited to see what was on the camera after each pose! By the way, just in case you’re wondering the photo below is his Blue Steel ;).
Will you be joining Living Arrows photo project this year?
