Last weekend we drove down to the Algarve for an impromptu mini-holiday to catch up with UK friends who were visiting.
The ever-changing landscape of the Algarve keeps on inspiring me – from the lush and vibrant winter tones to the dry saharan tones of the summer months.
Cholly had the time of his life exploring in the country, swimming in the idyllic warm sea and getting an adrenalin rush at the water park.
I restored my energy, caught up with a very special friend and topped up on my freckles.
We are so fortunate to be able to visit this beautiful region this often, and expose our son to all it has to offer… We love it so much that we are now seriously considering moving here for the summer ,while cholly is off nursery, which would mean braving 40+ degree heat. On the plus side, we have two cats, gorgeous beaches and absolute silence at night…
What do you think – shall we do it?
